Furniture Paint, the same paint we use to finish our beds – ideal if you wish to match existing furniture or apply your own paint to our beds.

What coverage does it offer?

This depends on how dark you want the shade, the more coats the darker the shade. We apply two coats, a 1 litre tin is enough to complete a bunk bed.

How is easy is this paint, no undercoat required!

Shabby Chic Furniture Paint leaves a matte finish which you can apply without the need of an undercoat or primer. Why? Because it’s so richly pigmented!

It gives beautiful results not only on wooden furniture but can also be used directly on metal, plastic, brick, stone, or plaster!

Applying your Chic Furniture Paint

Stir your pot thoroughly prior to use to ensure the colour is properly mixed. If applying by brush, apply evenly following the grain of the wood. If rolling, use a short nap mohair roller.

To create a distressed look, apply two coats in contrasting colours. Allow to dry then lightly abrade with moistened sand paper or a stainless steel scoring pad – abrade with the grain of the wood.

How long does it take to dry?

Within 15 minutes you can apply a second coat of paint, after an hour it is touch dry and after 2 hours it is safe to handle. The paint will be fully set and dry after 3 hours.

Is it easy to clean up?

Our paint can be cleaned from surfaces with warm water and a cloth. Do not empty into drains or water courses because some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings – be sure to check!

Delivery

How Fast is Delivery and what is the cost.

We use a mixture of our own transport (SSB Logistics) and various carriers to deliver our goods. These include APC, Tuffnels and Parcelforce. The speed of delivery does vary on location.

We do have an EXPRESS Delivery Option charged at £49.99 (subject to conditions CLICK HERE)

Can I choose a specific delivery day or time?
- Unfortunately, not, you may put a request within the shopping cart instructions, but we are unable to guarantee this. You can request to delay a delivery. Our transport team will text and email you in advance to confirm the exact delivery day. Our unique tracking system will allow you to follow the driver to your door so no waiting in all day.
What happens if I’m not in?
- Orders can be left with a neighbour, or a signed note can be left for the driver instructing them to leave your order in a safe place – e.g garden, front porch. Deliveries will be made to your front door. Deliveries to apartments and flats will be made to the ground floor entrance. We do not take away old items, packaging or provide an assembly service, sorry.
