That’s why we offer a unique and completely FREE bed recycling service for all our customers in mainland UK!

Here’s the good news – It doesn’t matter if you bought the bunkbed directly from us, Amazon, Wayfair, eBay, or anywhere else. If it’s a Strictly Beds & Bunks product, we’ll gladly collect it and give it a new life.

So, what happens to your old bed? One of two things:

• Repair & Reuse. We’ll spruce it up and donate it to a deserving charity, giving someone else a good night’s sleep.
• Dismantle for Parts. We’ll use those parts to create brand new recycled beds, doubling the life of your original purchase!

Why do we do this? Because we care about our planet and believe in giving back. We’re the only UK bed company offering a free recycling service, and we’re proud of it!

Helping Us Help Others: A Note on Bed Recycling Conditions

While we work hard to give as many of our beds and bunk beds a second life as possible, there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure our recycling program runs smoothly and benefits everyone involved:

1. Unmodified – To be accepted for recycling, beds should be in their original, unpainted, and unstained condition. This allows us to accurately assess their suitability for repair, donation, or repurposing.

2. Ready for Collection – To streamline the process for both you and the Strictly Beds & Bunks team, we kindly ask that beds are dismantled and repackaged before collection (we well send you packaging materials). This helps ensure safe and efficient transportation.

Remember, even if your bed doesn’t meet these exact conditions, please reach out! We’re always happy to recommend local donation or disposal services. Our goal is to make bed recycling as widely accessible as possibly.

How Does Our Bed Recycling Service Work?

We’ve made it as simple as possible to recycle your bed or bunk bed. Remember, you need to be resident in the UK for this service:

• Step 1 – Contact our customer service team by email help@strictlybedsandbunks.co.uk or fill in the form on our contact page to let us know you have a Strictly Beds & Bunks product you’d like to recycle or donate. Please include a few pictures of the product and your full delivery address and mobile number (for collection).
• Step 2 – We’ll review your request promptly and let you know if we can accept the return. If approved, we’ll send you FREE boxes to help you with dismantling and repackaging the bed.
• Step 3 – Once you’ve repackaged the bed, send us a quick confirmation photo. We’ll then arrange a convenient FREE collection time.
• Step 4 – When your bed arrives, our team will assess its condition and decide how it can best be given a new life. In most cases, we repair and donate beds to worthy homeless charities.
