I've had the double bunk bed in black for over a year now. The bed is for two giant teen boy's who wrestle, jump, sleep and relax in the beds. No bowing or change in any of the bed slats and the bed feels absolutly solid. The black stain has held up very well, looking great in a modern bedroom
