I'm extremely pleased with the bed, yes it takes a while to put together and its much easier with two people but the end product is well worth it. Its very solid and looks great with a waxed finish.

Lovely beds, need two people at times during assembly but easy to do. Completed beds are very strong and look good. Great company to deal with and product is very good value.

Cypress bunk bad
Bought this for our 2 boys aged 6 and 4. My husband and a friend put the bed up fairly quickly and it was straightforward. It certainly is sturdy. One of the main reasons we choose this bed was the space between the bunks; I'm 5' 9", and I can easily sit upright on the bed with a good few inches to spare. It definitely doesn't feel cramped at all.
We also bought the underbed drawer. It went together easily. The wheels on the bottom and sturdy and it moves well. Great size. Now has all the boys bedding in it, and it looks neat.
As for the boys- they love their new bunk beds. Very happy with them

This bunk bed is very sturdy and assembly is relatively straight forward. The instructions point out that the holes for bolts/screws are slightly mis-aligned to increase stability once tightened, and this works. There's enough room for storage drawers underneath the bed, so in a room with limited space that eliminates the need for a separate chest of drawers.
The included allen key, I think, should be used only as a last resort - there's a lot of screwing and tightening involved and you'd get very sore hands if you did this all by hand with the key provided. Much better to use a socket set and ratchet - but be careful not to over-tighten the joints as timber is actually quite soft.
If you're staining or varnishing the bed, be aware it'll take you much longer than initial assembly, so take this into account when managing your time.
All in all, a good purchase, a good ordering experience and this seems to be a company that is easy to deal with.

Great service - bed delivered when promised. Seems of good quality and very sturdy. Only 4 stars because the instructions leave a lot to be desired, but I still managed to build them fairly easily.

Super solid bed
I recently purchased this bed with 2 memory foam topped mattresses and have to say the quality of this bed is very good and solid. Also the price is exceptional value for a bed of this quality.
The only downside is the space between the two bunks is a little limited. Probably would be better if the bottom bunk was set slightly lower.
If you are thinking of buying this bunk but are concerned about weather there's enough space then the Everest bunk may be a better choice. Just check the height first as it's quite high.
